what to expect
Before your treatment
Before you come in for your Morpheus8 treatment, we ask that you remove all makeup and gently cleanse the area you’re getting treated. Although the Morpheus8 is comfortable for some patients, we might recommend numbing treatment (injected or topical) before your Morpheus8 treatment. If you elect to have numbing, please be prepared to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment. We’re looking forward to seeing you!
During your treatment
After your specialists has assessed your skin, you’ll recline while your practitioner calibrates the machine to your specific treatment parameters. InMode Morpheus8 is the leading RF fractional technology on the medical market today, and has a variety of settings for your comfort. If you elect to have numbing, most of our patients feel little to no discomfort outside of the pinches from numbing injections. Your specialist might also recommend topical numbing cream.
Because of the expertise of our specialists, our patients often tell us that they feel little to no discomfort from our Morpheus8 treatments.
After your treatment
After your treatment, you might be a little itchy, red or swollen in the area treated, but these side effects should subside in a few days or so. Depending on the area treated, you might also bruise. Bruising, redness, and swelling can last for several days, but they generally subside sooner. After a week or so, many of our patients notice improved skin tone and texture. Because everyone has unique skin, side effects, number of treatments, and results may vary.
Post-procedure care
After Morpheus8 treatment, your skin will a little more sensitive to the sun. Patients should moisturize the treatment area with moisturizer and avoid makeup for at least a few days. Additionally, Dr. Youngblood recommends avoiding direct sun exposure for at least 24 hours. Dr. Youngblood also recommends that patients use a broad spectrum sunscreen every day. In addition to reducing the risk of skin cancer, sunscreens help slow the aging process.

When can I put makeup on after treatment?
Since patient downtime is minimal, makeup can be applied 1 to 2 days after the treatment. Patients should expect to see micro lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness depending on treatment parameters.
